CLAUSE 01 · MUTUAL NON-SOLICIT
"Gravitas International Logistics shall not, directly or indirectly, solicit business from any consignee, shipper, or end-customer introduced by Partner, for the duration of this agreement and twelve (12) months thereafter."
Standard partner agreement · Reference clients available under NDA
The single thing that matters

We have turned away direct business from agent-introduced importers many times. The agent relationship is worth more than any individual account.

Most overseas forwarders have been burned at least once: a US agent takes the file, befriends the consignee, and six months later that consignee is buying ocean direct. We built our entire agent program against that pattern. Written mutual non-solicit. Standard partner agreement. Reference clients we have held the line on for years — provided on request under NDA. The math only works if you can trust us with your client. We know it. You know it. So we make the cost of betraying it higher than the upside.

Six services. One destination handling file.

01

Master B/L & House B/L management

We accept your MBL, switch to HBL where required, and manage the OBL/telex release process with the carrier. Carrier-neutral relationships across all major SSLs (Maersk, MSC, CMA CGM, Hapag-Lloyd, ZIM, Evergreen, ONE, COSCO).

02

Arrival notice & consignee contact

Professional, branded arrival notices issued in your name (or ours, your call). We handle the consignee on your behalf, or coordinate directly with their broker if they have one. Same-shift turnaround in 99% of cases.

03

CBP entry & PGA filings

Licensed customs brokerage on your shipments, filed via ACE — CBP Forms 3461 (entry) and 7501 (entry summary), ISF 10+2, HTSUS classification, FDA / USDA / FCC / EPA / FWS / CPSC filings, Section 301/232 analysis, AD/CVD scope review, UFLPA chain-of-custody documentation. Nationally permitted; we file at any US port.

04

Drayage & final-mile delivery

Container pickup from every US seaport and Class I rail terminal. Delivery to consignee's door. Demurrage (terminal storage) and detention (carrier per-diem on equipment) actively managed against both free-time clocks. Pre-pull, free-time optimization, and chassis coordination handled by our dispatch team.

05

Collect & remit settlement

Collect-on-delivery handling and forwarder-to-forwarder netting. Settlement on agreed terms (typically NET 30 or against vessel arrival). Wire or ACH. We provide statement-level visibility into outstanding agent balances at all times.

06

Your client stays your client

Written mutual non-solicitation in every partner agreement. We never market to consignees you introduce. Standard 12-month tail. Liquidated damages clause available on request for sensitive accounts.

Built for forwarders who run on real systems.

We integrate with how you already work, not the other way around. EDI for the larger forwarders. Email plus shared folder for the smaller ones. Whatever you use, we will meet you there.

EDI capability
EDIFACT (IFTMIN booking, IFTSTA status, IFCSUM cargo summary, COPRAR container release) and ANSI X12 (315 status, 309 customs, 322 terminal ops, 310 freight invoice, 312 settlement). Coverage

Every US gateway.

Direct customs and drayage coverage at every major US seaport (NY/NJ, LA / Long Beach, Savannah, Norfolk, Charleston, Houston, Miami, Seattle / Tacoma, Oakland, Baltimore, Jacksonville, New Orleans, Mobile, Philadelphia), every Class I rail terminal for IPI/MLB movement, and both land borders with Canada and Mexico. Your shipment never gets handed off to a sub-agent — one license, one team, end to end.

Two shipments to prove it.

Most agent relationships start the same way: one trial shipment. We file the entry, run the drayage, send the reporting, settle the bill. You see the work and the paper. If you like what you see, we sign the partner agreement and move forward. If not, you owe us nothing for the trial coordination.

Response within 4 business hours. Same-shift if your message lands before 21:00 your local time on a weekday.

Tell us about your operation. We will come back with a partner agreement draft and a trial-shipment proposal.
